The organization is out educate the community (especially women and mass media, on how to assert their rights/ responsibilities, organize seminars, workshops and colloquiums on various aspects that pertains to building our communities and a good living, reach out rural women to encourage and support abu HIV/AIDS, build effective network among women for global education, build and mend fences for World Peace amongst women and the community as a whole., to assist women to form common initiative groups and obtain funding by the government and other international organizations. organization also empowers the people of these communities and ensures sustainable livelihoods for them through our media sensitization programs, services and projects. It provides capacity building and leadership enhancement by training youths, women and the general public. Rural and urban communities remain in high rates of poverty and under development. VOW’s community development projects seek to empower the people and their communities and give them access to some facilitates for their empowerment and advancement. VOW is dedicated to providing poor communities with the tools to create bright futures for themselves. Our community programs provide resources to give economic opportunities and advance human rights, creating space for individuals to develop themselves. VOW mobilizes community members through our media sensitization outreach, to come together to take collective action and generate solutions to common problems. The aim is provide the community wellbeing in (economic, social, health, education, environmental and cultural) at the grassroots level following the Human Development Index.
